The Quiet Power of the Subconscious - My Journal

For more connection, clarity and inner security.

The Quiet Power of the Subconscious – My Journal

90 Days of Conscious Choices, Inner Clarity and Gentle Change in Everyday Life

The path of our lives is shaped by many small and large choices.
Some of them we make consciously. Others begin quietly — in our habits, our experiences, our familiar reactions and in what the subconscious mind has already learned to regard as safe, right or normal.

Perhaps change does not begin by suddenly doing everything differently.
Perhaps it begins in the moment when you notice a little earlier what is happening inside you.

This 90-day journal invites you to become more aware of your thoughts, emotions, body signals, habits and recurring patterns — and step by step to gain greater clarity about how you want to respond and choose in everyday life.

  • Not as another self-improvement programme.
  • Not as a test.
  • But as a quiet companion for your own path.

You will be invited to …

  • become more aware of your thoughts and inner dialogue
  • recognise emotions and body signals earlier
  • understand recurring patterns and automatic reactions more clearly
  • create more space between impulse and conscious choice
  • take your own needs and boundaries more seriously
  • develop small habits that genuinely fit your everyday life
  • look more consciously at your self-image and inner language
  • understand relationships, expectations and personal reactions more clearly
  • distinguish between what you can influence and what lies outside your control
  • find your way back after difficult days without judging yourself for them
  • experience courage not as the absence of fear, but as a small and fitting step
  • allow trust in your own ability to return and change to grow

Your 90-Day Journey

Notice → Understand → Choose → Practise → Return → Integrate

Change rarely happens in one dramatic moment.
More often, it begins quietly.

  • You notice a thought earlier.
  • You recognise a body signal.
  • You pause for a moment before reacting automatically.
  • You express a boundary a little more clearly.
  • You make a habit smaller and easier to repeat.

Or, after a difficult day, you realise:

I do not have to start again from zero. I can return.
That is what this journal was created for.

Across 90 days, you will move step by step through different areas of your inner and everyday life. Each phase builds on the one before it and invites you not only to reflect, but to notice your own experience more consciously.

The Themes of Your 90-Day Journey

Arriving & Noticing

At first, you do not need to change anything.
You begin simply by noticing more clearly what is already there.

Thoughts & Inner Dialogue

Which sentences accompany you?
Which thoughts are facts — and which are interpretations, habits or old beliefs?

Emotions & Body Signals

You learn to recognise feelings and physical responses earlier, without treating every emotion as an instruction to act.

Patterns & Autopilot

Which sequences keep repeating?
What triggers them?
What do they give you in the short term — and what do they cost you over time?

Choices & Clarity

You explore what genuinely matters to you and how small conscious choices can gradually give your everyday life a different direction.

Needs & Boundaries

What do you need?
Where are your limits?
And how can you begin to take yourself seriously before everything becomes too much?

Habits & Small Steps

Instead of perfect plans, you develop small, repeatable steps that can still work on ordinary days.

Self-Image & Inner Language

Which stories do you tell about yourself?
And which new experiences may already show you that you are more than old roles, labels or beliefs?

Relationships & Resonance

You look at what encounters with other people awaken in you, where you adapt, what you take personally and how connection can remain possible without losing yourself.

Influence & Letting Go

Not everything is in your hands.
You learn to distinguish more clearly between what you can influence and what you do not need to control.

Courage & Action

Courage does not always feel courageous.
Sometimes it simply means taking one small and fitting step while uncertainty is still present.

Trust & Integration

Towards the end, the focus shifts away from changing more and more.
Instead, you begin to notice what has already become more familiar — and what you genuinely want to carry forward.

My Path from Here

The final six days bring the journey together and help you look beyond the 90 days towards your own path ahead.

A Quiet Rhythm for Everyday Life

Each day gives you space for two perspectives.
At the beginning of the day, you pause.

  • What is here right now?
  • What is on your mind?
  • What would you like to notice more consciously today?
  • Which small choice might support you?
  • At the end of the day, you return.
  • What actually happened?
  • Where did a familiar pattern take over?
  • What did you notice earlier?
  • What would you like to carry into tomorrow?
  • You do not need to write a great deal every day.
  • Sometimes important insight fills several paragraphs.
  • Sometimes one honest sentence is enough.

Mini Practice: The Moment Before Your Next Choice

When you notice that something inside you is speeding up:

  • Pause — What is happening inside me right now?
  • Notice your body — Where do I feel tension, tightness, restlessness or tiredness?
  • Notice your thoughts — Which sentence is running automatically through my mind?
  • Check your needs — What do I genuinely need in this moment?
  • Distinguish influence from control — What is actually within my hands right now?
  • Choose a direction — What would be one small and fitting next step?

You do not always need the perfect answer.
Sometimes it is enough simply to notice the moment.

The Goal Is Not to Become a Different Person in 90 Days
The goal is to notice yourself a little earlier in certain moments.

  • Perhaps a little more space begins to appear between an impulse and your reaction.
  • Perhaps you recognise an old pattern sooner.
  • Perhaps you speak more clearly.
  • Perhaps you find your way back more quickly after a difficult day.
  • And perhaps some small choices gradually become so familiar that they no longer require the same effort every time.

Change does not have to be dramatic to matter.

This Journal Is for You If You …

  • want to understand yourself and your reactions more clearly
  • notice that certain thoughts or behaviours keep repeating
  • want to make more conscious choices instead of reacting automatically
  • want to take your emotions and body signals more seriously
  • want to recognise your own needs and boundaries earlier
  • prefer gentle, realistic change over pressure and perfection
  • do not want setbacks to make you feel as though you are back at the beginning
  • want to look more consciously at your self-image and inner language
  • would like more clarity about what you can influence and what you may need to let go
  • are looking for a calm companion that asks useful questions without telling you who you should become
  • have read books from *The Quiet Power of the Subconscious* series and would like to bring their ideas more deeply into everyday life

A Companion to the Entire Series — and Complete on Its Own

My Journal was created as a companion to the complete *The Quiet Power of the Subconscious* series by Lian Thore.
If you already know one or more of the books, you can use the journal to continue exploring their ideas and connect them with your own everyday experiences.

However, you do not need to have read any of the other volumes.

The journal is designed so that you can begin the complete 90-day journey independently.

It does not give you ready-made answers.
It gives you space to discover your own.

“You do not need to know every step of your path. It is enough to meet yourself often enough to recognise when the next step truly belongs to you.”

-Lian Thore
